everytime i update firefox and download the new version my browser viewing area is half the screeen size.

both firefox and internet explorer web sites i visit the viewing area on my lcd monitor is only half the screen. ive tried using the resolution setup to correct it but it dosnt work. my desktop icons and msn messenger viewing area is fine. How do i get the web site page to be the full screen again? thanks for any help

upgrade your browser to Firefox 8 and check

thanks for the reply. but the problem started by me updating my firefox to Firefox 8. im using firfox 8 now and i cant get my browsers viewing area to be the full page. it centers itself and only takes up half the screen
