I run a high resolution on my monitors and Firefox keeps changing the page zoom to 100% and the page is too small I like to set the zoom to 125 or 150 as default but for some reason I can't get Firefox to stay zoomed at those settings. I downloaded a addon but that didn't help either.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I hate to go back to IE8 but will have to if I can't figure this out.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Try the Default FullZoom Level extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965

Or the NoSquint extension:
