How do I clear all history out of Location Bar, not just hide it by going to Privacy, Location Bar, suggest nothing??? (read details below)

I can't clear history out of Location Bar (LB)... After clearing all history, I can go to Privacy, LB, suggest nothing, and that seems to hide the history in LB, but even after clearing all history again, if I go back to Privacy, LB, suggest bookmarks/history, my old history still shows in LB, it was never deleted??? How do I clear out all history out of LB, and not just hide it?

If you select to show bookmarks and history then you would need to remove all bookmarks if you want nothing to show up. If you only select History then nothing should show if the history is cleared.

If you still see history items that do not have a blue star to indicate that they are bookmarks then you may have a problem with the places.sqlite database file.
