Fire Fox email says: Turn built-in ad blocker on, in setting browsing, not found

This ad blocker is in Firefox for iOS. It should be explained there.

Not sure if this Mozilla email newsletter is online however it should have clearly stated Firefox for iOS which refers to Firefox on iPhone/iPad (iOS/iPadOS) and not desktop Firefox for Windows, macOS, Linux.

There are a number of Ad block related extensions you can install on desktop Firefox like uBlock Origin and Adblock Plus as can be seen on https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/

Not going to sign up to see for myself.

THIS IS VERY STUPID. DOES NOT EXPLAIN iOS OR IS THIS FOR A LAPTOP, HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY SENT THIS EMAIL, AD BLOCKER

They probably sent out the email to give people who use a iPhone or iPad a reason to use Firefox for iOS.

This looked separate confusing / I went to setting to browsing looking for this for my laptop.

I WAS LOOKING TO PREVENT ADS POP UPS:

Fire Fox I like / yet I have been writing them / trying to stop their 5 times a week updates and restart when working on many projects.

THEY MUST HAVE SOME ACCESS TO DISRUPT THE COMPUTER, OR THEY SHUT MS WORD OFF, NOTE PAD DOWN, TO FORCE YOU TO UPDATE AND RESTART ALL YOUR TABS, AND LOSE CONCENTRATION, AND WHERE YOU WERE WORKING. READY TO SWITCH AND NEVER USE FIRE FOX AGAIN

As for recurring updates, there are certain times when we see more bugs, so we’re required to offer updates—but we don’t force you to install them; we simply recommend them. In your account settings, you have the option to unsubscribe so you don’t receive emails from Firefox. We give users every option; we don’t impose anything—we simply offer suggestions.
