Why does FireFox disconnect on it's own?

Hi Andy, could you add a bit more details on your issue? Disconnect from what? Do the pages stop loading? Does it happen on specific pages?

My bookmarks go away, and I have to restore from a backup. I get the message I'm disconnected from sync. Happens every few days. That's about all I can relate. Thanks.

Thanks Andy, I wonder if the issue is that you get redirected to a new profile, that's why you loose things and get disconnected. Could you follow the following steps: Check whether your data is available in a different [[Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data|profile]]: Inside Firefox, type or paste '''about:profiles''' in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it. This page should list at least one profile and could list many. The profile that Firefox is currently using will show:<br> '''This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted.'''
