Unable to get to any website afterrupdating to Firefox version 137.

I recently updated my Firefox browser from version 136. to version 137. and after the update I was unable to get online to any website I tried and Firefox would freeze and crash, generating a crash report that Mozilla probably didn't get because firefox couldn't send it. Safari was working, as was Chrome, so I know it wasn't a network issue. I cleared the cache and tried again and still nothing. I then uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it from the Mozilla website, (had to use Safarii to get the Mozilla website) and still could not get to any websites. I'm on a Mac runnning OS 15.3.2 and I have a bootable backup of my machine that still had a copy of Firefox v 136 which i reinstalled on my mac and it works. What can I do to update to 137?

Sorry to hear about this problem. I'm trying to figure out whether your Firefox 137 crash reports might still be accessible after the downgrade. That information would be very useful in figuring out why 137 had so many problems.
