All the time it asks for my primary password but does not accept it. I have changed it numerous times but it does not register. It does log me in here though. What is going on? Is there another primary password somewhere?

Do not confuse the Primary Password and the password for the Firefox account like used for Sync and nfor this forum. The Primary Password is only used to unlock the passwords stored in the Password Manager (about:logins) and is used locally (not part of Sync) and is profile specific.
