I have thunderbird for my mail. I Use google for my mail server. I want to turn off Read receipts from emails people send me. I think I get emails that I know are from foreign hackers. Can I turn off this in thunder bird or do I have to go to google my mail server and turn it off?

I think turning off in Thunderbird will do it. I say that only because I don't think Google sends them.
