While watching a Youtube video I got the message "Gah! Your tab just crashed!" but when I went to "about:crashes" no crash reports where available. That cannot be correct, their should be a crash report ?

Can yu tel me why?

There would normally be a button on the page to send a report. If the crash is in a frame then this button may not be visible. When a tab crashes then this is different than a normal crash when Firefox crashes.

Even though FF recognizes the crash and offers to restore the tab this crash is not recorded in the crash reports?

A tab crash sometimes is not seen as a program crash.

A tab crash should never be a Firefox crash, that is the purpose of multi-process tabs. Only the tab content process crashes and not Firefox and you won't see the crash reporter Like I wrote above, such a tab crash page should have a button to send a crash report.

I have not seen the crash occur again since my last report. But If I understand you cor-el the crash I saw was from the site I visited and not FF?
