When they go they go. If you are running 2 Firefox's like 58.0.2 check there also as the Developer Edition actually shares the bookmarks. ( Yes can run Developer and another as Developer has a compatibility mode) If there is not a folder on your Desktop called OldFirefoxProfile then am sure they are gone.
