Cannot download Firefox 57.0 to my personal computer. I'm the admionistrator.
Trying to update to FF 57.0
Update failed There were problems checking for, downloading, or installing this update. Firefox could not be uploaded because: I don't have the permissions necessary to install this update. Please cfontact my system administrator.
I can update Firefox manually by visiting this site and downloading the latest version: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/
The laptop is my computer andI am the administrator.

Firefox does not change permissions.
Best to check out things with this : https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/ Download from another computer if have to. Blocking downloads is and can be signs of issues related to malware.
