Scrollbar doesn't work with mouse wheel scroll anymore in SIlverlight applications on MAC Firefox

In silverlight applications we create scrollbar using Scrollviewer control. But in latest browser versions(safari, firefox all) in MAC os the scrollbar doesn't work with mouse wheel. Is this control not supported by MAC any more? Is there any specific reason like a security threat, due to which MAC browsers stopped supporting silverlight scrollviewer control?

Please help me with this issue as it's a critical one for some of the users.

In the past it has been recommended to reinstall the silverlight plugin.
