Why is it necessary to update a weather page twice before updated data is shown?

On a weather radar page, I have to hit update twice to get the latest weather image. Have had this problem for years. Do not have the problem with Chrome, i.e., if I hit update once on Chrome the latest image appears.

Running Fedora 21 Linux Firefox 38.
