Are there settings shared between FF - other browsers?
Can changing settings in Firefox (different versions) affect settings of other browsers installed on the machine such as IE8 and vice versa? Can changing settings on Windows 7 affect FireFox and vice versa. If so, is there a list of such settings/configurations that are shared and can be potentially changed?

No browser settings are shared, but some security settings in Windows can affect Firefox as well as IE.

Are you experiencing any issues in Firefox that might indicate that such a sharing is happening?
