This morning the Mozilla firefox would not connect to the internet (my homepage is Comcast.net). It kept saying "connecting" "redirecting" and repeating it in rapic succession. So I used internet explorer and it connected to internet just fine. I could get to my homepage, my e-mail no problem. So I went to Mozilla to get an update for firefox and it looked like it downloaded something but after "run" and "run" it started Firefox but the same thing is happening. What is wrong? I have Norton security from Comcast and I had no problems for several years. There has been no change to my computer and it has been defragmented and disk checked just recently. I was going to just uninstall Mozilla but I do not want to loose all my bookmarks. please help

hello RayGust, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions: Fix problems connecting to websites after updating Firefox
