I have always had a Thunderbird Button on my toolbar but it is no included in the custom buttons add-on. This is a very useful button for me. How can I once again get a Thunderbird Button?

Do you mean a button added by this extension?

There used to a Thunderbird Button included in the "Custom Buttons" add-on extension for Firefox

Then you will have to check that on the Custom forum site to see if you can locate the code for that button.
