Why do I have to delete the cache about twice a day for a normal use of firefox?
I am a frequent internet user particularly with Firefox. Since i have my new Notebook I have regular Problems displaying webpages with Firefox. It is running on a Windows 8 64-Bit version.
So what happens is the following:
Webpages don't get fully loaded and stay half built; Firefox does not seem to be working anymore to build the missing parts. (pictures, textures etc.) Firefox doesn't load at all;
Regularly I have to clean my recent history. After that, it works. If this happened twice a year it would be OK for me, but this really happens at least every day once. I need to work a lot in the internet because I'm a student and I don't visit untrusted Pages etc..
I thought it was my firewall or virus guard but even when I turn it off the problem occurs.
Thank you for considering my request, Oldschoolman

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Note that you are probably using a Nightly Firefox 21.0a1 build and such builds update daily and can always be unstable, especially the 64 bit build is rather meant to test that the code compiles properly than for general usage.
It would be better to stay with the release channel.
Of course, I considered this. I changed to Nightly because the Problems occurred also in the normal version. Now I installed the Firefix 19.0 Version and again the problem was there today...
You can also reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)
It shouldn't be necessary to clear the cache that often.
Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
