firefox complete application file
Where do I download a complete, independant firefox application file, not an installer file.

The Firefox installer is the complete program, that is the case for all all platforms.
You can download and save the exe file and copy the installer to an USB stick.
It is the complete program, so no other files need to be downloaded.
You may need to install or update plugins.

Firefox on Linux comes as a tar.bz2 archive.
You need to extract the files from that archive file and copy them to a directory, either in a location like /usr/local as root or to a folder in your home directory.
I use linux to access the web, but I need to install firefox on a windows system.
On Windows the Firefox installer comes as a .exe program.
You can find the latest Firefox release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
- Firefox 16.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Download and save the Firefox installer to the desktop and start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon.
You may need to run the Firefox as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator)
If you keep having problems then disable you anti-virus software temporarily.
Thanks for beint so quick...
I do not want the installer. I need the complete program to install on a laptop that isn't connected to the internet.
