Import backup local.sqlite file

Just moved to a new computer and am having trouble importing my previuos TBird calendar. From my prior computer backup (created with Macrium Reflect) I have tried moving the local.sqlite backup file to the calendar-data folder in my new TBird profile. However none of my prior calendar events have loaded into my new calendar. Is there another process or file/files I should be using? Thanks in advance. Rob W.

Use Thunderbird's Import Tool feature.

- Restore your backed-up Profile to a convenient temporary location (Desktop?)

- Click on Thunderbird menu item <Tools | Import | Import from another Thunderbird installation>. Continue

- Choose one of the Profiles it had detected, or navigate to your backed-up Profile. Continue.

- Deselect everything but Calendars. Continue.

- Acknowledge the confirmation screen by clicking Start Import.

- When the import is complete, restart Thunderbird. If all looks OK, you may delete your temporary Profile copy.
