Please see Recover lost or missing Bookmarks. Also, what are widgets you are referring to?

I tried that "multiple" times and no luck. I'm not at all tech savvy, but what I was referring to was the sites that I visit everyday. I had little icons on the top of my screen that I could just click on, but now I have to go back to typing in the sites I want to visit........... I've checked everyone of those profiles and none of em have my bookmarks that I've had for years......... Thank you trying to help me.

Sorry to hear that... To clarify, don't you have bookmark backups in any of those profiles?

one of the profiles has about 4 of my bookmarks in it, but that's it. The other profiles don't have any of mine. I have a total of 3 profiles. I tried defaulting the 3rd one that had 4 of my bookmarks in it, but all of my bookmarks did not show up. I shut down several times just to refresh. I put it back to the 1st profile as a default since the 3rd profile I used didn't have but 4 of my bookmarks so it wasn't bringing them back.. Also, I used to have icons on my laptop that all I had to do was click on it and it would get me to my most visisted sites, ie, my bank, my fav shopping places, etc.......... that is all gone and I don't know how to get it all back. I'm 76 years old and am not at all savvy with this stuff, but I did not think this would happen when it was refreshed and I've been using FireFox since I've been using a computer. I hate to switch because I do like Firefox the best, but I can't get my stuff back......... I so appreciate you taking the time to try and help me.

I also can no longer bookmark anything........... I click on that little star next to what I want to bookmark, but it won't light up yellow like it used to so I can't even save bookmarks anymore.............. I've just lost all my capabilities.........

ok, I changed the default to the 3rd profile because it had 4 of my bookmarks in it "and" I got my shortcut table back, so I went into the shortcuts and changed em all back to the ones I had and I can now click on that little star next the url and it turns yellow so I can now save bookmarks with that profile too, so I'm going to keep using this 3rd profile that I made the default because it has the most stuff that works..........
