On windows 10, Firefox Browsing/surfing was slow so I did netsh winsock reset and ip reset etc.

But thereafter few sites in-page notifications aren’t loading properly like facebook notifications, forum notifications, amazon page etc.

Nothing works irrespective of cookie or entire history deletion.

I had to fiddle with the networking settings few months back so unsure what are the stock FF settings- what they should be like. I wasn’t able to find on google.

I did performed a FF refresh and even created a now profile and that works absolutely fine!

But the moment I log into my FF cloud account for re-syncing all add-ons, bookmarks etc and dang the issue reverts. So I think 110% the FF account sync is restoring back the network settings I did some time ago overriding the default ones hence the good up.

All other browsers like edge/chrome are working fine.

What I want is-

   * The default FF network settings which I can correct and re-sync back to my FF cloud account.
   * Or a way to only restore bookmarks and extensions/add-ons and nothing else from the cloud account.

I have years of bookmarks that have disappeared and my history is missing. Firefox opens with the tabs that were open when it shut down. I really want my bookmarks back.

As an Advocate, I have to open Supreme Court website and all other High Court websites. But, "sci.gov.in" is not opened. Why ?

hi in a new win 10 instal most text incl Fire Fox text is made up of letters [font] that are made of thin and thick lines [in the same letter]

i dont know if its a strange font or another problem, i have copied all "font" setting from my other pc where i dont have the problem.

also i cant get spell check to work here dsespite turning it on

its very distracting, would be very gratefull for any suggestones if any one can

After updating Firefox to the latest version, I've noticed a significant drop in performance. Pages take longer to load, and scrolling isn't as smooth as before. I've tried restarting Firefox and my computer, but the problem persists.

System Information:

• Operating System: Windows 10
• Firefox Version: 94.0
• Extensions Installed: AdBlock Plus, LastPass

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Firefox.
2. Navigate to any website (e.g., https://www.mozilla.org).
3. Observe the loading time and scrolling behavior.

Troubleshooting Tried:

• Disabled all extensions.
• Cleared browser cache and cookies.
• Started Firefox in Safe Mode.

Hello Friends!

I ran a CC Cleaner update this morning on my one main desktop computer and after running this all of the synced bookmarks on this 1 computer across my 3 computers disappeared under the Bookmarks Toolbar. The other 2 computers still show and have access to the bookmarks as we are all signed in under the same account. Of note the Bookmarks Menu and Other Bookmarks have not changed on the main desktop computer. However under the Bookmarks Toolbar the main desktop computer shows an empty bookmarks field. I have tried to reboot, sign out and back in etc. I even tried to download to an html file the bookmarks on the working laptop but when I attempted to choose the file for upload on the problem machine it failed. Any other ideas from the good folks out there would be most appreciated! I have many many bookmarks and it will be quite painful to recreate for just one machine. Thanks in advance for any help! im not able to recover my email sites telling me Firefox is controlled by 2 site or something like that.i tried to back up but there is no dates ,there was back up dates but it has disappeared also can you help to restore book marks

Hello. I recently made a purchase online, on a site that does have my credit card info. As expected, Firefox did autofill the address (which I've authorized), and it did not autofill the credit card number (whoch I've never authorized). However, the CVV and expiry date DID show up as autofill options.

According to following Mozilla page, the CVV is never supposed to be saved.

I'd like to delete this information from Firefox, but there's no credit card field to delete under Settings->Privacy, presumably because I've never allowed it to be saved before.

This hasn't happened before, so far as I can recall. I'm working on an up-to-date Windows 10 machine, and running Firefox 144.0. I don't know when it updated last, but the "About" splash says it's current.

I restarted Firefox today to find you have removed all my 100+ tabs, which I had arranged in folders, and replaced the vertical settings I had with Tree Style Tabs, which in the past has always run slow. I was greeted with childish graphics inviting me to set up a profile and offering me an introduction to Firefox. I have been using Firefox for years, mostly happily, until you screw up the view I had spent hours setting up. You are turning into a cheap Microsoft but with even less consideration for your users. This may seem like an old problem, but I seem unable to fix it. I have a web site for which I updated the home page. But when I tried to have Firefox load the home page from the web site to be sure it looks OK, Firefox loads only the local copy from past loads of the home page and I do not see the updated page at all. I have tried clearing the cache, but that does not fix the problem. It seems that something has changed as this method, if I recall correctly, used to fix the problem. I am sure the fix is simple, but it has eluded me. Can anyone share the fix for this? I currently use Windows 10.

I have three Windows 10 computers, and now none of them will play videos in Facebook. When I pass the mouse cursor over them, they go black, and when I click, the "working on it" icon keeps spinning and never stops. Everywhere else, e.g., Youtube, they play with no problem, but not in Facebook. A hard refresh worked, and then it didn't. BTW: The videos play without a problem in Chrome.

after updating to the latest version FF kills my net connection after loading. edge and all of my other apps are working fine. i am typing this on edge.

i have a lot of FF tabs but that has never been a problem in the past.
