Authorization Denied with firefox but not with Chrome
I am logged on to my Credit Union and attempt to download my statements. When using Firefox I get the message: {"Errors":["Authorization has been denied for this request."]}
When I contacted my CU, they said to add an URL to the Manage Exceptions. This worked, but I want to know why Firefox needs this but Chrome doesn't.

Which "manage exceptions" did you add it to?
Under Settings > Privacy & Security > Manage Cookies and Site Data > Manage exceptions.
I tried deleting the site under Manage Browsing data before I called the CU and they told me the URL to add.
Have you changed your default cookie settings at all? Or the default tracking protection mode?
No known changes to cookie settings. Enhanced Tracking Protection is set to Standard. Although I do respond Deny to some websites when prompted. And I usually disable the non-essential settings. Can't really say which ones exactly.
That's odd. Basically what happened is we were denying cookies on that site for some reason.
Is there additional data that can be collected to determine why the denial is occurring? Shouldn't clearing the browsing data for this site have cleared any block that may have been set?
The domain for the exception is different than the main banking site. Is that relevant? I cleared the data for both domains and the block is still occurring.
Is this a potential bug? Or could the bank site be in error?

In this situation, I would usually suggest disabling Tracking Protection on the bank sites to bypass Total Cookie Protection. I wonder whether an Allow permission has the same effect?
