Thunderbird - Error: Platform version
Hi, how do I get rid of
"Error: Platform version '143.0.1' is not compatible with minVersion >=141.0 maxVersion <= 141.0 Maybe try to reinstall Thunderbird?"
It's not very practible to do a new copy everytime a Thunderbird Update has to be made because I mainly store my emails in a local copy (respectively a lot of copies already).
could you please help me?
Thx & BR Eva

Try this: see if there is a compatibility.ini file in the profile. If so, delete it, and then start thunderbird
no nothing changed
I cleared the "cache2" folder - nothing changed I cleared the shader-Cache - nothing changed
shall I clear the startupCache as well?
I do have Microsoft Edge on the computer and on the stick firefox, firefox should be the standard but sometimes that changes; might that be the problem?
If thunderbird actually starts, try this: help>troubleshoot mode and restart. The error may be from an addon,
Download the installer again from https://www.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/all/ Use the one for the update channel you actually use (Extended Support - ESR, or Release). If your TB version is 143.0.1, you're on the Release update channel. Then close Thunderbird, and run the downloaded installer.
