thunderbird no longer backing up to onedrive after update to 142
My Thunderbird updated on Thursday (9-11) I believe. Since then my autoback comes up when I close the program but it no longer backs up to OneDrive. Typically it engaged promptly and was done within 30 seconds or so. Now it just sits on this screen and doesn't backup.
Hoping whatever is stopping this can be fixed. I am a user of the program and not a programmer so if there are steps involved please know you need to provide the A,B,Cs if you will!

Two things.
- The import export tools addon is not supported here. The addon download page has a support link that point to this address https://github.com/thundernest/import-export-tools-ng
- If I were to even attempt to point the importexporttoolsNG add-on to my one drive, it would take two and a half hours to backup my profile to that destination, given the profile folder is 43Gb and the upload rate tests as 39mbps.
You apparently think it will be happening in seconds as you have observed happening in the past. Is your profile actually empty for it to be done in seconds? The add-on holds Thunderbird open for the entire duration of the backup whether you can see a window or not. Given that the backup is a recursive JavaScript process it is inherently slow and takes so long on my device with an SSD that I simply do not allow it to run very often at all. Even an new empty profile is measured in MB in size, so I would never expect it to only be done in only seconds. Minutes perhaps.
I don't think your backups in the past have been complete, have you ever tried to use them?
My IT person has the backups update the changes for that day. My email is about 10Gb.
I was hoping not to be denigrated by commentary when I explained in my post that I am not a programmer and that I'd need help in easy to understand steps.
This comment added no value to the conversation, "You apparently think it will be happening in seconds as you have observed happening in the past. Is your profile actually empty for it to be done in seconds?"
I'll reach out to my IT person to see if he can find a solution. I had hoped it was something I could accomplish on my own.
