I asked this question on the Thunderbird Android stream but thought I might copy it here as well.

I recently switched from the Samsung email to the Thunderbird on my phone and I love the app. However, I would like to figure out how I can delete an email on my phone without it deleting it on my desktop version of Thunderbird (IMAP) or on the server that is offsite. I'm sure there is a setting somewhere but I can't find it.

You use POP on the phone not IMAP or, just accept that everything will be on your phone because IMAP is syncronised because with imap deletions are syncronised.
