The UserAgent you used to post this thread is Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Firefox 79.0 to 115 ESR requires macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 at minimum to run while Firefox 116.0 and later requires macOS 10.15 or later to run.

The old Firefox 78.0 was released back on June 30, 2020 and the last security/stability update 78.15.0 was released October 5, 2021.

Unless your hardware allows you to update your macOS to 10.12 or later you are stuck with Firefox 78.15.0esr.
