Thunderbird Support needed

When I try to download new messages on Thunderbird I get the following message. "The account jackmc7@q.com is being processed. Please wait until processing is complete to get messages." Later it starts to download message but pauses on 20 and then stops for good on 40. The last message I received was dated yesterday at 0638 AM. Even then there are no new messages.

How do I receive answers from you? Is there any way we can talk on the phone?

To diagnose your problem with Thunderbird, try the following:

  • Restart Thunderbird in it's diagnostic Mode. On the Help menu, click on "Troubleshoot mode" continue into that mode when prompted. If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
  • Restart the operating system in safe mode with Networking. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Instructions on how to do this for Windows 10 is discussed in the link.
If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates or a VPN.
