Firefox Doesn't Work

more options

Well, the first thing is when I logged back in from a restart, firefox wouldn't open. It would just say "firefox quit unexpectedly" over and over again and I restarted over and over again. I used AppCleaner to delete (not permanently) the old Firefox then downloaded Firefox from another browser (which I'm writing from right now, Opera) but even though it worked, the links in bookmarks had no logo, my add-ons weren't in the right order, and none of my preferences were saved. What should I do?

Ok, so using jscher2000 advice, I managed to move my old profile over. Is there still something that needs to be done?

Do you think that when you reinstalled Firefox, it picked up using your previous profile folder, or did you get back what you have now by logging into a Firefox Account and using Sync?

Note on icons:

Bookmark names and addresses are stored with history in the places.sqlite database file. Site icons are stored in a companion file named favicons.sqlilte. These might not sync.

jscher2000 I created a new account but managed to move my profile over by using your previous method. Is there anything I missed?

Was it this method? https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1325304

I don't have any new updates to that, so it's possible that some files in the folder might be damaged??

Yeah I used that method. It doesn't look like anything is damaged but I'll keep all the files just in case.
