I have been using Thunderbird for several years, two POP accounts on gmail. The last few days have been a nightmare though. For some unknown reason, Thunderbird would not log onto either account, saying username and passwords were not correct. I then changed the passwords on the gmail accounts, but only one worked in Thunderbird, but it is now downloading five year old emails, and not the recent ones! I have searched the web for solutions, most say to look under "Synchronization and Storage", but that option does not exist. There is a "Disk Space" setting, but no way to limit to new emails. Thunderbird 68.10.0. Now I have one account that will not work at all, my main one insists on going back to 2015 and downloading all over again, a few at a time, will never get back to present at that rate! HELP! I have really liked Thunderbird for a long time, and have a multitude of layered folders of emails I do not want to lose.
