On startup I get the "Too many connections" error for my Yahoo account and it doesn't download new messages.

Once Thunderbird has started however I can choose "get new messages" and it works. I only get the error on initial Thunderbird startup. "Max Connections" is set to 3.

That didn't make any difference. Still got the error on startup but was able to manually retrieve messages without an issue.
