Why do I get constant Flash crashes and get constant, short duration pauses(hang ups) in videos and when scrolling through files in a Salesforce program?

I get constant messages that Flash has crashed and /or is outdated. I have the latest version of Flash. I do not have this problem in Chrome

The main problem is with a Salesforce program (Patronmanager). Scrolling through pages(particularly ones with a lot of data) the page hangs up and pauses. I do not have this problem in Chrome.

Sometimes, as in right now, when clicking on a browser tab the response is not immediate. I am also experiencing delays as I am typing this with the text appearing as I type.

I have run the refresh program.

Hi, try disabling/remove your Firebug extension which is very old and may be interfering - Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A).

Also try turning off hardware acceleration - Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

And try disabling hardware acceleration in Flash and/or Flash protected mode - Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
