For the last 2-3 day I have been experiencing a box that asks for my signature each time I go to a new website. I can't move the box. I can't screenshot it. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

I use Brave, Firefox, Firefox Developer Edition and Thunderbird. Brave: 600mb Firefox Dev: 600mb Thunderbird: 200mb Firefox: 800mb Why is Firefox using too much memory? Especially as I am running Firefox Dev as a direct comparison. I don't have any plugins on Firefox. Firefox Dev has uBlock Origin alone. Brave has a few plugins.

Duck duck search via Firefox has become painfully slow, although if Google search is used the speed is OK. I have cleared caches, cookies etc without any improvement. Firefox 148.0.2, Windows10. Is this a recognised current problem?

I thought that firefox would be more reliable than google chrome. For some reason, I am having now problems like accessing my youtube account and other things that worked fine before. There are other sites I can no longer access and I am wondering whether that has something to do with your service.

I have two separate Firefox accounts, with separate emails to log in and their own sets of bookmarks, passwords, etc. I want to merge all the data from both of those into a single profile of a single account under just one of the emails.

I'm pretty sure I've done this before, by: 1. Logging into account A and syncing. 2. Logging out of account A without deleting data. 3. Logging into account B and syncing. With the result that account B now contains all its original data plus all the data from account A.

But when I just tried to do this process now, at the point of logging in to account B I got the error "Account limit reached for this profile. This profile was previously synced to a different account. To keep your data organised and secure, each Firefox profile can only be synchronised to one account. To sign in using [account B], create a new profile."

I don't want to have separate profiles with the data from accounts A and B, I want it all merged into the same profile. How can I achieve this?

I don't see the suggestions when I'm typing. It was the most visited site by me and firefox was autofilling it. Now I can see there's nothing in my history like it is the first time I use firefox. I haven't changed anything in firefox settings or system files etc. It's just got deleted. I'm a MAC user

After a recent change the browser scroll always goes to the bottom of the page. Before it was always at the top of the page. I found no way in Firefox to reset this function.

Firefox will only start if I sign in as an administrator. It doesn't connect to the internet, and I can't get to the help screen. I did a refresh but that hasn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall a new copy correct the problem? How do I save and reinstall my bookmarks and settings? I love Firefox and prefer it over other browsers. But I need to fix it and any help you provide will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

I'm using Firefox as my default browser, and I saw a link preview for YouTube (on tumblr, if it matters) that displayed the message 'Your browser is deprecated. Please upgrade' instead of the actual video title. What does this mean?

Recently I've had this issue (on reddit) where after I expand a video in the feed, and start scrolling, all the visuals freeze.

I know it's only the visuals, because I can still interact with the website (usually unexpand the video, or pause it) with the image still frozen and audio still playing.

I can fix it by tabbing firefox down, and then up again. While researching I found the profiler, and finally managed to capture the moment it happened.

I'm no stranger to technical stuff but it's a loooot of data to process, I did a "clean" profile recording as well where I did the same action and where it didn't freeze, and I can't really make heads or tails out of what the issue is.

The recording managed to capture the phenomenon and I only clicked twice during that period, to expand two reddit expando videos, the second one is what caused the issue when scrolling. The only thing I see is a spike in memory usage

Not sure if I can (or should) upload the profile recording here or what, but it's been bugging me a lot.

It's pretty tricky to replicate because it seems to be random when and what triggers it, even expanding the same videos doesn't replicate it. Sometimes I go days without it happening, sometimes it happens 6 times in a single session.

I've added some screenshots of various views of the profiler/stack data.

I have an Nvidia RTX 5070ti GPU, hardware acceleration is on, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor.

I think I might have enabled some rendering settings in about:config, maybe it's related to that but I don't remember exactly what.

Maybe it's due to some windows "game optimisation" or the GPU and CPU-GPU fighting?

I have no problems watching videos while playing games or anything though.

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

Although the option to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is unchecked in my settings, I am still getting logged out of all websites when Firefox restarts. This was never the case when I used Safari, and it's quite inconvenient to have to log in to so many websites all over again, especially when two factor authentication is required for many of them.

Is there anything that might be causing this, anything I can check or do on my end so that I am staying logged in on restart? Thank you.
