I should start by saying that I read through a similar thread (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/980749?esab=a&as=aaq) but I think my issue is different.

When I enable sync, I end up with duplicate entries for the dynamic folders that cannot be manually removed. For example, downloads, tags, history. I will create a follow up post with a screenshot.
