Suggestions from Google search engine are in Amharic characters, although I'm from Romania and I have all settings on my PC to en-US.

All Regional&Language settings are set to en-US, but for the last month or so I keep getting suggestions from Google search engine in Amharic characters (Ethiopian language). I tried restoring default, removing and adding a new Google default search engine, changing Regional&Language setting on PC and Firefox but nothing works. I want it to show suggestions in english. How do I fix it?

Try to clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
