I need help getting my security password for firerfox
My son and I came up with a master security password for firefox security panel. I put password in the box confirmed password with firefox system, and then moved on. I logged out of my computer after about four hours latter. When I logged back in to my computer system the password was not excepted! I don't wont to have to erase all my user information on my computer system. Is there any way firefox or mozilla can help me to retrieve my password from firefox system. Can you please help me with my problem.

You may have had Caps lock switch on.
Did you try that?
I assume that you mean the master password to encrypt (protect) the passwords in the password manager.
You can reset the master password, but you lose all currently saved passwords if you do that.

I sure could use some help with my security panel password nightmare problem! Can firefox community please help me our a web masster, that sounded so cool, help with my password problem!

Thank you: cor - el for taking the time to answer my question on firerfox forum! I don't understand why my password would not work the second time, and when I saw what I had to do, I was not happy at all. I followed the direction's as instructed to, and reset the pass word. I really hope that this does not happen again ! made sure I wrote down write password and double check't my work! Looks good so I'm going to be moving on now , appreciate the help.
