trying to download stuff ..was working fine then it started sending downloads to internet explorer and it says open i hit open screen pop up then gos right away..cant open it..and some sites it opens but cant read it in different writing and letters..when i pull down Firefox download button the things i downloaded are there but cant open ...help

What kind of files are you talking about?

Do you mean downloading files or saving web pages (File > Save Page as)?
