the "new tab" and "new window" option is mixed up and is my biggest problem with the new version.

also for some reason adobe doesn't seem to like to load videos from some sites now... i get sound but no video.

the new style also looks dumb... looks like they are trying to be opera or safari...

You can move menu items around by using the Menu Editor add-on. You can also make fireofx 4 look like Firefox 3.6, for details see http://www.computertechtips.net/64/make-firefox-4-look-like-ff-3-6

If you prefer to downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.

To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

i would hate to have to download an addon just to put some thing where it should have been in the first place.... and i don't want to have to download a ton of addons. i have adobe and addbocker... that is all i want right now.

i have installed the 3.6 version and for the most part every thing is back to normal.... except it is REALLY SLOW now.... what did you guys slow down 3.6 to make 4 SEEM FASTER!?... this is B.S.

you guys are starting to act like microsoft... putting out junk products and trying to force people to upgrade... if i can find another browser with add blocker im switching for sure.
