I cannot open a new tab
I cannor open a new tab when I use the command File/New tab or when I click on the X at the right of the tab bar or when I click right on the X then click left on the New tab command I've tried in other sessions, the New tab commands work. It looks like I have a problem with my settings.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened. The Ask toolbar was installed when you installed the Foxit reader.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
- Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
- Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
Thanks for the quick reply. In the mean time I upgraded FF to FF4.0 and the problem seems to have disappeared. But I bookmarked your links, just in case.
