i recently rpdated firefox and accidently clicked add yahoo toolbar. how do i get rid of the yahoo toolbar and get the old firefox web page?

i updated my firefox browser to the latest edition and accidently told it i wanted to use yahoo toolbar. now i lost most of my web browser to yahoo toolbar, and i want the old browser page back, i do not want the yahoo toolbar. i don't recognise anything anymore and am lost. i miss the old firefox page and want it back. how do i do that? i have an opportunity to upgrade to firefox 4.0 but am not sure yet that i want to, until i get rid of yahoo toolbar.
