Print and even print preview comes out unreadable. Do i need to change any internal print options. My printer works with the old firefox and windows internet explorer for the SAME document. I only have a problem printing while in firefox 4.0.

There's a bug in 4.0b12, which is fixed in 4.0RC.

Open Help > About Firefox and it should check for and install the update. If it doesn't, use the Check for Update button in that "About" dialog.
