I did all the suggestions for clearing a site from the location bar and the only option I have is to turn off the history suggestions in the preferences to not see the sites. If I clear the history and the site is not in my bookmarks, where is this information being stored on my computer and how do I get rid of it? The computer is a desktop Mac.
