Why does email I mark spam still arrive in my in-box?
When I get spam email in my inbox, I mark it as SPAM. It will arrive again in a couple of days. Why does it come into my in-box still? Its marked as SPAM in my In-BOX!
I don't want to keep touching junk email!!! its a huge waste of time. I cannot find the settings on how to make that action happen.
Please advise. If this isnt possible I will unfortunately be leaving your platform after decades of use. Yes I have donated several times over the years. Not get rich money, but it all helps.

Did you read the support article on SPAM? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-junk-spam-messages
There is no usage of the sender information, other than to white list those that are in your selected address books. The decision process is based entirely on the message content and if it is commercial email you have subscribed to in the past your repeated marking of it as spam can have the effect of increasing the level of false positives because your selections can eventually poison the learning database as to what text strings constitute probable spam.
You might also need to read the article on blocking a particular sender. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/blocking-sender and the information on filters as you appear to be wanting to filter your mail be blocking a sender. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/organize-your-messages-using-filters
