Unsubscribing from IMAP folders doesn't work

I uncheck folders in "Subscribe", press OK. Then open "Subscribe" again. And those folders are checked again. And this happens only with one mail provider. For other mail providers unsubscribing works.

No, it is with mail.ru

I don't know about mail.ru, but Yahoo accounts have a long-standing bug that doesn't allow unsubscribing:

so it's possible the same thing affects mail.ru. You might be able to disable certain IMAP folders in webmail settings, as is possible with e.g. gmail.
