check for messages
I have Linux Thunderbird installed on a Chromebook. There is no way I can find to check for messages. Searched Settings and found no way to set this up. Please advise

Perhaps it would be more obvious in a different browser. As installed Linux on Chromebook it doesn't work at all. The only way to get there is right click on the account.

On a PC, there is an icon to the left of the 'new message' button. Is there one there?
OK found it...right click on the account name and a choice is check messages. This was certainly not obvious.
David’s suggestion is more obvious.

The icon that David suggested doesn’t work?
There is also a menu option in the file menu.

I don't understand the reference to a browser.
Regardless, can you post a screen shot please?
