I used Edge as my default browser. No issues. Then, Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom started asking for verification everytime I logged into a site. So, I deleted it and changed to Chrome. I set Chrome as my default browser.

But T'Bird still wants to open links to Edge, aka Microsoaft, even though I have completely wiped Edge off of my PC.

According to help, T'bird should recognize my default browser and use that. It isn't. I went into General, but there is NO section labeled 'Default Browser' . A search on 'Default Browser' yields zero results.

I am at a loss.

Thx
