Recent disfunctional changes to Thunderbird
I see that Thunderbird has added another feature that makes Thunderbird less functional. First a single click to access Address Book now requires three keys to be depressed; Ctrl, Shift, and b. And this earlier change made it impossible to view incoming mail when accessing Address Book. Second, the change made yesterday requires that only one address can be added to an email at a time. When two or more address are highlighted and dragged to BCC, TO, or CC the user is forced into "Attach". Then the only thing that appears in "Attached" is as lot of gibberish and some personal information about only one of the addresses. I'm wondering just how many are no longer using Thunderbird after these changes? Oh, seems the most logical next change to make is to cease allowing an address to be "dragged" into a slot and require that the address be typed, key by key, into an "TO" slot. Hummm. Could a pattern be noted about using digital information? One of my credit unions made some online changes that make banking on line much, much more difficult. This long time "contributor" is now looking for some other email (and internet?) provider. I do hope that y'all make your product(s) more user friendly, rather than user difficult. DWG PS It took me two or three minutes to access this method of communicating with Mozilla. Y'all sure make it difficult for your users to communicate with you.

Perhaps you need to consider customising your toolbar by right clicking it and adding the address book. I did about a year ago.
And this earlier change made it impossible to view incoming mail when accessing Address Book.
Are you complaining because the address book is a tab not its own window? Otherwise I have no idea.
I really don't see much difference clicking between tabs and between windows for most occasions.
Second, the change made yesterday requires that only one address can be added to an email at a time. I can not reproduce that problem at all based on your description. Not that I can really comprehend why anyone would be dragging addresses from the address book to the compose winder when there is a contacts pane in the compose windows F9 turns it on.
Having said that I can drag multiple contacts to a compose window and drop them into the field I want then to use, be it T0: CC: BCC: or the body of the email. I can not make it want to attach them.
I am using Thunderbird 128.2.3 on Windows 11. Is your version somehow different?

I guess you are just having some sort of fun metal imaginings. As I said before, I really can not imagine dragging and dropping contacting into a mail message when there are so many faster and more efficient ways of addressing an email.

This is a peer support forum for software. Not some contact with Mozilla, so you still have not contacted "Mozilla". But before you even try, you need to be clear who you think you need to contact. Are you trying to contact; The Mozilla foundation, a US not for profit organization that makes no software at all. Mozilla Co which builds all of the Mozilla branded software except Thunderbird. Mzla Technologies the company that develops Thunderbird under the auspices of an independent council.
Try clicking this link to see what the Foundation claims are their focus. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/ Then try this one to see who the Thunderbird folk are. https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/about/
For some time (years) Thunderbird has had a link on the help menu to https://connect.mozilla.org/ labeled as Share Idea and feedback and that is a site that is monitored by the development team for as the name implies Ideas and feedback.
This site is also linked from that same menu as "Get Help", so I have tried to offer some help. But I am struggling to understand what you are doing or why. Your description of how you do things makes replication rather difficult.
Neither link/site is hard to find, but initially creating an account to access Mozilla.org sites does take some time.
