Hi, TB is running extremely slowly on my Windows 10 PC. A lot of online advice suggests deleting or updating the old profile. ini file, but when I go to my default profile folder, there is no profile. ini file there. Could it be stored anywhere else? Anything else I can do to speed up TB? Thanks, ND

Do NOT touch that file. It has nothing to do with speed. That file tells Thunderbird where the active profile is. If you incorrectly modify or delete the file, thunderbird will not start. I am not the speed guru here, but large message files are often part of the issue.
