sound settings
the download complete sound is too damn loud, is there a way to disable the alert? i use my computer connected to my tv and so far the only way i have found is to mute the system volume. i am looking for a setting in firefox to change.

Hmm, I can't remember hearing a sound when a download completes. Are you using any add-ons that could be "enhancing" your download experience with that sound? An add-on's settings may be accessed using its toolbar button or its entry under the Extensions button:
