Note that you lose all passwords if you reset the Primary Password, so you may want to keep a backup copy of logins.json and key4.db in the Firefox profile folder to have at least a record of all the host names (domains).

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).

Thanks cor-el. I have reset the Primary password, but what have I reset to? I still get the window that says "Enter your Primary password" and I have tried entering a new password but that doesn't work. Appreciate more info. Thanks
