How do I turn off threads to ALL messages on all accounts permenantly?

Every time I search (ie filter) my email using a keyword, the results are always threaded as well as being sorted by thread. I turn off threading under "View" as well as "sort by" by thread, but threading is back again when I do a new search or filter using a new keyword.

I hate threading and want it permanately turned off in all my accounts. How can I do this?

search/filter you mail how? There are three different method I know of that could be called search.
